Background:
The company was formed in Barcelona in 1994 in the context of globalization. It was selected to form part of the stage arts market of the apap in New York, took part in the three México: Puerta de las Américas festivals, in 2005 it participated in Jacob’s Pillow, the oldest and one of the most important festivals in the United States, and in 2008 formed part of the Festival Internacional Cervantino (the International Cervantes Festival). The company is a member of the México en Escena program and has been honored with the Premio inba-uam and the Premio Iberoamericano de Coreografía in Havana, Cuba. In addition, the company’s director, Jaime Camarena, has been a member of the Sistema Nacional de Creadores since 2006.
